פרופ' אילה ארד

פרופ' אילה ארד עשתה את כל תאריה באוניברסיטת תל אביב. בשנת 2011 היא סיימה את הדוקטורט שלה בכלכלה ונסעה להשתלמות פוסט-דוקטורט באוניברסיטת קליפורניה בברקלי ובשנת 2014 היא שבה לאוניברסיטת תל אביב והחלה ללמד בפקולטה. כיום היא מרצה בכירה בפקולטה.

עבודותיה נמצאות על קו התפר שבין כלכלה ופסיכולוגיה. היא חוקרת החלטות שסוטות באופן שיטתי מהמודל הכלכלי הקלאסי של האדם הרציונלי. המחקר שלה כולל ביצוע ניסויים שנועדו לזהות השפעת גורמים פסיכולוגיים על תהליכי קבלת החלטות ובניית מודלים פורמליים שמביאים בחשבון התנהגות שאינה רציונלית.
