Dr David Zvilichovsky is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s Largest Bank, and a senior faculty member at Tel Aviv University's Coller School of Management. Dr. Zvilichovsky also serves as the head of the MBA program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Tel Aviv University as well as on innovation related advisory committees including the CNBC Disruptor 50 Advisory Council.
His 30+ years of experience in the Israeli high-tech eco-system encompassed the full life cycle of innovation, from formation to M&A / IPO. David has worked with some of Israel’s leading technology companies as well as Venture Capital investors and government entities. During the 2008 financial crisis, he served as a senior economic advisor to the national economic council at the Israeli prime minister’s office.
David Zvilichovsky received his Ph.D. in Economics as well as an MSc. in Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University and completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, His current research interests include Networks, Innovation & Growth, Venture Financing, Crowd-Funding and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Zvilichovsky teaches courses in economics, entrepreneurship and innovation. He also teaches on the global modular program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
