פרופ' שטיינהרט היא דקנית ופרופסורית מן המניין בפקולטה לניהול על שם קולר באוניברסיטת תל אביב.
חוקרת בתחום השיווק ומומחית להתנהגות צרכנים. קיבלה את הדוקטורט בשנת 2006 בפקולטה לניהול. היתה חברת סגל בבית הספר לניהול של אוניברסיטת חיפה וכמו כן לימדה בפקולטה לניהול של אוניברסיטת תל אביב ובבית הספר למנהל עסקים של אוניברסיטת הונג קונג למדעים וטכנולוגיה. מנחה דוקטורנטים וסטודנטים לתואר שני, מרצה בכנסים בינלאומיים ומפרסמת מאמרים בתחום השיווק והתנהגות צרכנים.
